Please register and complete your vote.

TAKE NOTICE that a Ratification Vote shall be held in accordance with the Temagami First Nation Community Ratification Process in order to determine if the Eligible Voters approve the Temagami First Nation Land Code and the Individual Agreement.

ADVANCE POLL DAYS for the Ratification Vote will take place:
• Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm at: Bear Island located at Lands & Resources Office, Bear Island, ON
• Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm at: North Bay, North Bay Indian Friendship Centre, 980 Cassells Street, North Bay, ON

OFFICIAL VOTING DAY for the Ratification Vote will take place:
• Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm at: Bear Island Lands & Resources Office, Bear Island, ON

ALTERNATIVE (ELECTRONIC) VOTING will be available:
• 24 hours/day starting on May 5, 2017 at 9:00 am and ending Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 8:00 am
NOTE: Electronic voting will be closed during the following times: Thursday June 8, 2017 from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm, and Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm

MAIL-IN VOTING
• Mail-In Ballot must be received by the Ratification Officer no later than the close of the polls on the Official Voting Day (June 24, 2017 by 7:00 pm).

ELECTRONIC AND PAPER COPIES of the Background Documents, the Ratification Documents and the Ratification Process may be obtained from David Laronde, Land Code Coordinator, at the Temagami First Nation, Lands & Resources Office, Bear Island, ON, POH 1C0 Tel: 705-237-8600. Electronic copies may also be obtained from the Temagami Land Code Website at www.temagamilandcode.com

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that all Members of Temagami First Nation who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of the Official Voting Day (June 24, 2017) for the Ratification Vote are eligible to vote, PROVIDED THAT SUCH MEMBERS MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE VOTER REGISTRATION.
