Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte

Election Reform Survey

Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte is undertaking a consultation with the electors of MBQ to see if the current election system is meeting our needs.

There are three election system options that are available: the Indian Act election (our current system), First Nations Elections Act and a Custom Election Code. For more information on the three election systems , please click here https://www.m-powerconsulting.ca/mbq-election-reform (if this link doesn't work, please copy and paste the address into your url).

The survey is only 5 questions long and should not take too long to complete. It will be open for a period of two weeks. Once the survey period closes, all results will be analysed and a report with recommendations will be provided to Tyendinaga Mohawk Council for consideration.

We thank you in advance for taking the time out of your busy schedule to complete this short and important survey. The results will help to reform our election system so that it can best serve our community!
