Chief and Council would like input from members regarding whther members support the application for a liquor license by a local business (new or existing) to serve alcohol from an establishment on the reserve.
At this time, no business in Curve Lake First Nation holds a liquor license to permanently sell and distribute alcohol on the reserve. There are a number of social and economic factors to take into consideration prior to providing support to a business who is applying for a liquor license. All businesses that are successful in their application are required to continue to follow the regulations outlined by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
Would the membership support a new or existing business in applying to acquire a liquor license to sell alcohol in Curve Lake First Nation?
