General Election 2019

Notice is hereby given to the voters of the Curve Lake First Nation that a poll will be held to elect one (1) chief and eight (8) councillors on Monday the 17 th day of June, 2019 from nine o’clock (9:00) a.m. until eight o’clock (8:00) p.m. at the Curve Lake Community Centre.

All members of Curve Lake First Nation who have reached the age of 18 on or before the poll date are eligible voters. Non-resident voters having an updated mailing address with Curve Lake First Nation Administration Reception will receive a voting package that includes options for mail-in voting or online voting via onefeather.ca. It is a voter's responsibility to provide a current mailing address in order to receive a voting package. Resident voters may request a voting package from the Electoral Officer. All voters may vote in person if choosing not to use a mail-in ballot or online voting via onefeather.ca.

The votes will be counted at the Community Centre on Tuesday the 18th day of June, 2019 the day after the close of the poll and I will declare the results immediately following the count. The ballot boxes will held at the APS station overnight.
